Coretta Scott King: Queen of The Movement

April 27, 1927 to January 31, 2006

I just found out about Coretta Scott King's passing. Even though her persona was overshadowed by that of her late great husband, she was by his side for many of those historical civil rights moments that Martin Luther King spearheaded. She had been a civil rights activist for may decades after Martin Luther King's death, carrying the torch, sort of speak, for the civil rights movement of the 1960's. She was 78 years of age.
