Costco: Paper Gangstaz

Most metro-suburban types are familiar with the large warehouse discount chains like BJ's, Sam's Club & Costco. I have been on a hunt for a small/affordable eating/dining set for the back yard recently. As my hunt ends up in Costco and I decided to ponder if I have the cash to even pay outright for the eating/dining set...for the back yard...

I recently became self-enlightened that I was shopping within the walls of one of the most paper-gangsta organizations out there.... What other franchises of their size..[In most suburban towns across the country there are Costco stores..] have to work with [the credit card system] is what Costco ignores... Many of you already know that Costco ONLY accepts cash.... You also have to pay a yearly membership fee to shop at their stores. I mean, if you go to McDonald's and order a snack from the dollar menu, I believe that you could actually pay for that by credit card [let's not do that though... :-].

A lot of friends & family that I know also shop at Costco and I think that they think that they are getting deep discounts from these warehouse shopping clubs because of the many bulk items that they sell. In reality, a lot of those items are very the same prices as regular supermarkets.

All in all I still shop at these wherehouse stores because they give me the all-in-one-store Walmart effect.... and a lot of you already now that...i like that. Even if they need their payment raggedy-corner-store style... Cash Only! lol
