"Poet"

I was doing a little(?) bit of random web surfing when I came accross this clip of a Common performance on Def Poetry Jam that I felt compelled to post. It just reminded me that words can be so powerful... something that an average fan of wordplay & messages [ie. lifelong adult hip-hop music fans] often forget in today's hip-hop world... It reminds me that hip hop can be more than chants or unsophisticated cat calls.... it can still be quite poetic.
