I-pod or I-pod-u-not
A few months ago at the gym [rare visit], the infinite well of wisdom that is me placed my I-pod in my gym bag unseperated from funky wet clothing from my painful gym visit. Soon after my I-Pod started acting up [omnipresent battery issues, I presume] and in a few weeks did not work at all. Luckily I had purchased an extended warranty [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WITH ALL PRICEY GADGET$ ] and it had not expired. I sent the thing in and soon after received a gift card for a repurchase. As many Apple product users know, Apple is notorious for popping up with updates of their products out of the blue, lowering the price point and discontinuing or lowering the price of their current product and pricing the upgraded product at the some price that you paid for your product less than 2 months prior. This occurred with my I-Mac G4 15-inch. I asked the Apple Store associates the day I bought my I-Mac if they believed a 17 or 20 inch version will be out within 3 months [I would just wait]. Of course the said no and I bought my I-Mac. Lo & behold...7 weeks later...I-Mac G4 17inch unveiled at same price point...So back to my I-pod purchase dilemma, there has been rumors about a new I-pod-like media player coming out this fall called the I-video. Basically it is an I-pod with movie file playing capabilities. If this is true then I'll forgo my new I-pod purchase and wait it out. Of course this is a rumor and Apple never confirm or deny these rumors. If anyone has extra info about this let me know. Cause otherwise imma be super-steamed if I get caught out there again.
