Six Flags So-So Adventure
I decided to play hookie from work on Thursday and head out to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. I had not been there in what seems like a few years and I was curious to see what the new roller coaster rides were like. This week @ work was killer for me so on the day of my Six Flags pilgrimage let's just say I wasn't in the greatest of spirits to trek for an hour and a half to the theme park instead of laying in bed and catching some desperately needed zzzzzz. But my wife's nieces were in town and they were super-excited about our trip. So we packed up and drove out. Of course we had to make the standard "I'm hungry" & "I gotta use the bathroom" pit stops. When we got there it was surprizingly packed [forgot that school's out for all the little rugrat kids in the NY/NJ area also]. I did manage to go on a few rides [Batman ride is still the shizznit]. I think that I'm really starting to age because it just wasn't as satisfying going on these roller coaster rides like it used to be. Many of the rides soomed very similar [Medusa & Batman are almost the some ride to me]. I found the trip to be not worth it and was thinking I could've spent an entire day doing other things. I don't know...sound like age is finally creeping up on me.
