Yeeeaaaauh!

Hoooooouuuuat!!....Ok so I have been one of those idiots that have repeated almost ad nauseum those ridiculous chants by lil' Jon that at first listen makes someone think that they are communicating with someone that deaf & mentally retarded. [For those living in caves or deep in the amazon jugle for the last 2 years] Thru his string of produced hits for numerous "A-List" artists over the last 2 years [eg. Usher], and through the parodies of comic genius Dave Chapelle, Mr. Jon has become a household name...along with his catchphrases [yeaaaah, okaaaay & hooooowuuuaat!!!]. I recently taught my 2-year old neice those catchphrases [smack on my wrist]. My sister is threatening to jump me if she hears her infant child say hoooowuuuaaat! again as soon as she sees me.

I recently heard the remix version of the Fat Joe [& Terror Squad] club-thumper "Lean Back" done by the ubiquitous Mr. Jon and I must say that I was a little disapointed. Sure it gave me a warm feeling inside to hear "Pastor" Mason Betha alonside Mr. Slim shady on a record that is the definative summer smash. But the production done by Lil' Jon sounded like all the other tracks that he has produced in the last year. If Mr. Jon doesn't step up his game soon the new catchphrase that people will be saying when hearing his name is whooo?
